Khac Nhu Ly, Chinese in ethnicity, born in 1943 in Quang Ninh, Vietnam. He graduated with honour in oil painting program organized by the Vietnamese American Association in 1972.
Khac Nhu started sketching at age 15 and developed his own unique painting style after mastering in sketching, watercolor, oil painting, lacquer painting and pottery. His exceptional ability to capture not just the “likeness” but the “nature” is achieved as everything in his artworks could come alive.
Over the years, Khac Nhu won numerous awards and his artworks has been collected by museum including Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum; Cultural Museum of Vietnamese Ethic Groups, Thai Nguyen Province; and The Art Center of National Yun Lin University of Science and Technology Taipei, Taiwan; and been displayed in art gallery in Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Laos, Korea, USA, Canada, Australia and France; and been collected in the homes of art lovers around the world.
