Hi, I'm Drew. I'm originally from North Texas, but spent most of my life in St.Louis, Missouri. I've been in the U.S. Navy. I went to West Texas State University for graphic art. I completed three years only , but later I completed a Spanish degree at Lindenwood University in St.Charles Mo.
and a Dental lab Tech degree at Southern Illinois University. I've drawn since I was a young kid and painted since high school. I also play piano, and have a little experience in sculpture. My main objective is to get very good at painting and get my name out there. At my Dad's dental office, a lot of patients commented on my paintings and really thought they were reallly good, but no one would buy them! St.louis is it'not the best art selling environment you can be in!...they'll probibly hand you a case of beer and call it even!!...I waited very long to exhitbit my art..and have done so only recently....I did win an award from the St.Peters Cultural and Art Center called "Talking with the animals". It was a submission of a polar bear, and a tucan bird. |
